Common Philosophy
The desire to create the best soccer experience for our children.

Everyone associated with youth sport gets involved for their own reasons, but the common objective that unites our club in serving our community is to create the best soccer experience for our children.

Great learning experiences come in different shapes and sizes.
Often in casual, unpressured play situations, without the incentive to win, score goals or beat anybody else - important talents are developed.  Kicking the ball around with a bunch of friends, playing fun games under the direction of a friendly coach, and touching the ball more often in games with ’small-sided’ teams where the score isn’t counted - will result in new skills. Healthy competitive experience comes when teams of similar ability meet in leagues of well-matched teams, and a single goal can can make the difference between winning and being the runner-up.

Soccer is a team sport.
Being part of a team is important to every player. Great results are the product of cooperation between disciplined players performing planned, practiced and well-executed play - demonstrating on game day what has been learned in practice. Everyone on the team has a job to do, and does that job to the best of their ability. By supporting and encouraging our teammates and demonstrating both respect and good sportsmanship towards our opponents and game officials, we create an environment where every player can enjoy personal triumph and contribute to team success. We are committed to bettering our understanding of the game, to improving our skills, demonstrating our passion and enthusiasm for learning and taking our quality of play to a higher level.

The game of soccer mimics life: there are winners and runners-up.
The game may be about putting the ball in the back of the net more often than our opponent - but winning is about showing the same respect, strength of character, and good grace - irrespective of the outcome of the game.

We depend on our parents, fans and supporters.
Accommodating practice schedules, knowing where to go, how to get there and getting everyone and everything to an event – these are big challenges for anyone whose children participate in youth sport. We are grateful to our parents and understand what a great job they do! We also know that it often takes more than just parental involvement to get to every practice or game! Thank you for the help of our friends, extended family and our community - you help to make this great experience possible.

"We have succeeded when everyone involved;
players, coaches, parents and officials,
can leave the field of play at the end of a game
and feel that the time was well spent."
