What to do if contacted by the Disciplinary Committee.
If a complaint has been filed about you, you will be:
- Notified by the Disciplinary Committee Chairperson within five (5) days of the Notice of Complaint,
- Provided with a copy of the Notice of Complaint, and
- Asked to provide a written Answer to the Complaint to the EOSC Disciplinary Committee within five (5) days.
Your Answer to Complaint is to be faxed to the EOSC Business Office at (407) 277-4209 to the attention of the Disciplinary Committee. (Please call the Club Registrar, Patti Henderson, at (407) 277-8227 before faxing to ensure confidentiality of the communication).
Written complaints are investigated by the Disciplinary Committee and a written Incident Report is prepared by the Discipline Committee Chairperson. This report will include a summary of fact, describing the circumstances and events that the Disciplinary Committee understands to have occurred and sanction imposed, identifying consequences resulting from the Disciplinary Committee investigation. This report documents the findings of the Disciplinary Committee, and will be provided to parties filing and answering the complaint within twenty one (21) days of the Notice of Complaint. Incident Reports may be published by the Disciplinary Committee on the EOSC website.
The Disciplinary Committee may elect to impose sanctions including, but not limited to: written warning, fine, suspension, and termination of club affiliation/membership for documented violations of the EOSC Code of Conduct.
