2nd Place Finish At Disney Memorial Shootout May 2007

TEAM INFORMATION

 This is a new team that developed nicely over the course of their inaugural year.  Our development lead us to our Runner Up finish in the Disney Memorial Shootout in May, 2007.  We are looking for continued growth next year. 

We have college level practices that are very disciplined and require a serious player.  These practices are tailored for the age group of the team.  But there is not any time for messing around during practice unless we have a relaxed day (which are earned once a month during season).  There is not any room for any player not wiling to take practices seriously.  We believe in working hard and playing hard. 

I believe in letting players know what they do well as well as what they need to work on.  We hold team events that are required to attend outside practice to help build team chemistry. 

We plan on going to 2 tournaments in the Fall and 5 in the Spring.  One of the tournaments will be held out of state in May, 2008, over Memorial Day Weekend.  Traveling out of state once a year will be a focus of this team moving forward.  We look forward to continued growth over the new season.

The head coach has played in Premier level teams while growing up through high school in Columbia, MD.  He was recruited to play soccer at the college level.  Upon graduating he immediately began coaching at the Premier level in Columbus, OH, and has done so for 9 straight years.
