By now you all know about the committees we have formed at East Orange Soccer Club. YOU the parents as members of this club have the right to be a part in sharing your ideas and making decisions on how this club functions. We ask you to join the right committee that has your interest or expertise so that you can make a difference in the lives of not only your child, but all the club’s players.
Be a part of this club and your child life, join a committee! Contact the chair person me via e-mail and let them know of you interest or if you have any questions or need more information.
· Bylaws & Policy Committee – Annette Root Chair Person (This committee will have one member from each areas/part of the club)
· MODS & SST Committee - Brian Boyd Chair Person (The chair person will contact those members that will be a part of this specific committee)
· Leagues Committee - Amy Phillips Chair Person (The chair person will contact those members that will be a part of this specific committee)
· Finance committee - Richard Bernier Chair Person (We would love to have members on this committee who have accounting or administrative skills who will provide their knowledge and expertise. This committee‘s major function is to study and evaluate the financial part of any projects the others committees create)
· Marketing committee - David Abdy Chair Person (We would love to have members on this committee who have the skills and the knowledge in marketing, advertising and sales along with connections to advertisers)
· Communications committee – Ruben Trevino Chair Person (If you have the knowhow in the field of Internet design, internet marketing and other web and communications skills, WE NEED YOU!)
· Events committee – Dawn Martin Chair Person (Definitely committee members have to be organized, creative and like to have fun… Have the skills to be imaginative and likes to make things happen, if this is you, then you need to be a member of this committee)
· Uniform and Equipment Committee – Mark Henderson Chair person (This committee will evaluate the club’s uniform program as well as any equipments that we need as a club)
· Fields committee – David Hicks Chair Person (this committee likes members who likes perfection and like to follow the rules, this is a committee that will be searching and evaluating fields to practice on, to play games on and be very active when we hold our future tournaments and camps.)
· Players & Coaches Committee – Greg Root Chair Person (we need members on this committee from the coaches’ ranks, the parents as well as players from both the MODS and the Leagues)
· Recognition and Discipline Committee – Tim.Fleming Chair Person (This committee will be responsible for the selection of those that go above and beyond whether they are players, parents, coaches, team managers or any other member in the club. This committee will also study and review any complaint regardless where it comes from)
